u64 ("Ultimate 64 Controller") is designed with privacy in mind. This policy explains how the app handles data when you use it to control your Ultimate 64 or Ultimate II+ device.

u64 does not collect any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Any data for third-party sharing or sale

Local Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Connection settings: The IP address of your Ultimate 64 device, so you don't have to enter it each time
• App preferences: Your settings and preferences within the app

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Network Communications

u64 communicates over your local network and the internet for the following purposes:

• Local Network: The app connects to your Ultimate 64 or Ultimate II+ device on your local WiFi/LAN network to send commands and receive status information. This communication stays within your local network.
• HVSC (High Voltage SID Collection): When using the SID player feature, the app may download SID music files from hvsc.c64.org. This is a third-party service; please refer to their privacy policy for information about their data practices.

Third-Party Services

u64 does not integrate any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is HVSC (hvsc.c64.org) for browsing and streaming SID music files.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Data Security

Since we don't collect personal data, there is no personal data to secure on our end. Your local app settings are stored using standard iOS secure storage mechanisms.
